A llama is a social creature and despite its spitting habits made a wonderful addition the Zoo at Windy Willows. Sir Winslow had picked up a few pairs of them on an excursion to South America in 1887. Llamas hum to communicate with each other. Lady Susan (Sir Winslow’s wife) was able to train them to perform for the visitors to the zoo. They hummed “Turkey in the Straw” to everyone's delight.

To start the llama pillow was cut out by hand which will give it some variation. Then the pillow was assembled with love using both machine sewing and hand stitching. It is what gives them character and personality. The pillow is stuffed with poly fiber fill and is machine washable. Will need to be air dried or on a delicate setting. She measures 12 inches across the base and 18 inches high for the large llama and 10 x 10 inches tall for the smaller llama
