The children's nursery at Windy Willows was full of books. This book was added late in the 1930's, shortly after it was published. Sir Winslow and Lady Susan loved to read to their children and grandchildren. The story of Ferdinand was a favorite of all of them. They even added Black Angus cattle to the estate because of it.

Ferdinand is made from black minky, felt and cotton fabrics. He has vintage button eyes. The rose he is holding in his mouth is red and green felt. All my items are cut out individually by hand so there will be slight changes to each whimsical pillow. It is what gives them character and personality. The pillow is stuffed with poly fiberfill and is machine washable. Will need to be air dried or on a delicate setting. This stuffed animal pillow measures 12 by 18 inches.
