Blue whales are magnificent ocean creatures. Sir Winslow sailed on a voyage that followed a pod of whales for days before they lost track of them. It gave him plenty of opportunities to study how they interacted with each other, even with the ships that were tracking them. The sketches that are in the journals from Sir Winslow's voyage are quite detailed.

The whale pillow is made with cotton fabric, felt, and buttons. All of my plush are cut out individually by hand so there will be variations. The blue whale is sewn with my crazy quilt technique. It is what gives them character and personality. He measures 30 x 12 inches from the end of his fin to the tip of his smile. The whale is stuffed with poly fiberfill and is machine washable. Will need to be air-dried or dried on a delicate setting.
