Sir Winslow was sailing near Greenland and the ship needed to take on fresh water. The crew had heard of a strange bird there called the Great Auk. Wondering just how great this creature was Sir Winslow decided to do some exploring while the crew was refilling the water casks. He didn't need to go far. The shore line was covered with wonderful black penguins. They waddled and they swam. Sir Winslow made drawings and detailed notes of his discoveries.

This pillow is handmade from a super soft minky plush fabric. To start, it was cut out by hand which gives it some variation. Then the pillow was assembled with love using both machine sewing and hand stitching. It is what gives them character and personality. The pillow is stuffed with poly fiberfill and is machine washable. Will need to be air dried or on a delicate setting. Custom orders are available with color and fabric variations and they certainly can be as unique as you want them to be.
