The Smythe family had seen and even used camels in other parts of the world on their adventures but they had never seen so many of them at once. But before now they had used them as pack animals or saw off in the distance in the wild. Now they were seeing the animals in a new light. The camels play an important role in the Desert Festival of Jaisalmer, they are highlighted in it and the rich and colorful folk culture of Rajasthan can be seen.

To start the camel pillow was cut out by hand which will give it some variation. Then the pillow was assembled with love using both machine sewing and hand stitching. It is what gives them character and personality. The pillow is stuffed with poly fiberfill and is machine washable. Will need to be air dried or on a delicate setting. He measures 12 across the base and 18 inches high.
