Well summer vacation is almost here. My kids have one more day of school and then oh boy! One thing I find very handy is to have a meal plan for the week. I asked my sister Bethany what her go to are as well. So along with some cool summer meals, we have some basic ideas that you won’t need a recipe for. The first one we picked was Taco Salad! Sir Winslow watches the whales Blue whales are magnificent ocean creatures. Sir Winslow sailed on a voyage that followed a pod of whales for days before they lost track of them. It gave him plenty of opportunities to study how they interacted with each other, even with the ships that were tracking them. Chickens at Windy Willows

Many of the animals at Sir Winslow’s Zoo were exotic, unfamiliar and extraordinary. However, some of them were a necessary means of running an estate in rural England. Chickens were part of this latter group of animals, but as cute as any of them. White fuzzy chickens were on bug control in the gardens of Windy Willows, Sir Winslow’s Estate. But with the arrival of warmer weather, they also carefully kept track of all the baby chickens that they hatched.
